02 / The Capacity Gap
Your production backlog is not a staffing problem. It’s a capacity problem.
Technical teams get stretched. Deadlines stay fixed. Senior engineers and technical staff can end up spending time on production work that a dedicated technical team could handle — because there’s nobody else to do it.
Hiring solves it eventually. But hiring takes months, costs more than the work justifies, and leaves you with fixed headcount when the project is done. Most firms either carry the cost or keep the backlog.
Delta Precision Group is the third option. A managed production team that learns your standards, handles the defined workflow, and takes the day-to-day production management off your team. You stay connected on priorities, requirements, and feedback. We manage the people, production, QA, and performance. Delta removes the burden of building and operating the production workforce, so you can focus your time and resources on what moves your business forward.

A U.S.-based urban robotics client builds autonomous robots that capture ADA and PROWAG compliance data from U.S. sidewalks, crosswalks, and curb ramps. Their robots collect the imagery. Someone still has to turn that imagery into a usable compliance inventory.
That’s the work we took on in May 2025, starting with one city in Texas. Nine months later, the engagement covers ten municipalities and a team of 26.
Delta Precision Group didn’t just provide annotators. We built the production operation around the workflow — and rebuilt it as the work grew.
-
Specialized QA by asset type Dedicated reviewers for sidewalks, crosswalks, and curb ramps, not a single generalist pass.
-
Performance dashboard Built internally to track completion rates, accuracy, and turnaround at the individual level.
-
Documentation infrastructure Written guides, video tutorials, and an edge-case library so new team members train against a standard.
-
Surge absorption Last-minute municipal contracts delivered without missed deadlines.
-
Continuous improvement QA pass rate rose 14% over nine months; rework dropped from 20% to 10%.
05 / The Difference
What changes when Delta Precision Group is on the team
| Management burden | Without Managed Production Capacity | With Delta Precision Group |
|---|---|---|
| Staffing focus | Senior staff absorbed into production work Expert time gets pulled away from higher-value technical work. | A managed team handles the defined workflow We learn the standards and own the production process. |
| Recruitment | New capacity means recruitment and management Hiring creates a second operational problem. | We recruit, train and manage the team You get capacity without building the workforce. |
| Workload spikes | Workload spikes create bottlenecks Fixed headcount cannot flex with the workload. | Production capacity scales with workload The team expands when demand grows. |
| QA burden | Client team carries the QA burden Review and rework stay inside your operation. | Internal QA completed before delivery Work is checked before it reaches your team. |
| Vendor management | Outsourcing becomes a second job to manage Someone on your side still has to run the vendor. | We manage production end to end You set the standard and review the output. |
06 / The Operating Model
How it works.
Our core values of integrity, excellence, and tenacity are built into everything we do for our partners, right down to the operating model we use to build and manage your technical production workflows.
-
Understand We learn your workflow, standards, quality benchmarks, and what a good deliverable looks like before a single file is opened.
-
Build the team We assemble the right people for the specific work, matched to the technical domain, not pulled from a generic pool.
-
Train and calibrate Every team member trains against documented standards and works supervised production before handling live files.
-
Produce Work is distributed, tracked against productivity benchmarks, and managed internally, not handed back to you to supervise.
-
Internal QA Dedicated QA reviewers check every file before it leaves Delta. Internal QA is completed before delivery.
-
Client review and feedback Feedback from your team is fed back into workflow documentation and training, not absorbed and forgotten.
-
Measure and improve Performance, accuracy, and turnaround are tracked at the individual level.
-
Scale When your workload grows, the team grows with it. When it contracts, so does the team.
07 / Why Delta Precision Group
Not a vendor. A managed production operation.
Delta Precision Group doesn’t just provide people. We manage the production system around the work: training, QA, documentation, performance tracking, and scaling.
-
Training infrastructure Every team member trains against documented standards before touching live work. A structured ramp-up with supervised production.
-
Dedicated QA QA is built into the operation, not bolted on. Reviewers check work by asset type before anything is submitted.
-
Knowledge management Edge cases, requirement changes and workflow decisions are documented so new people train against a written standard.
-
Performance tracking An internal dashboard tracks completion rates, QA pass rates, turnaround, and remediation at the individual level.
-
Client feedback loop Your feedback changes the workflow. Requirement updates are documented, retrained, and tracked.
-
Scalability The team expands when your workload grows and contracts when it doesn’t. No hiring cycle, no idle bench time.
08 / Common Questions
The questions we get asked before every conversation.
Our needs are highly specialized. Can your team deliver on our unique requirements?
That is the assumption the operating model is built on. Before a single file is opened we learn your workflow, your standards, your quality benchmarks and what a good deliverable looks like to you. The team is then assembled for the specific work and matched to the technical domain rather than pulled from a generic pool, and every member trains against your documented standards and works supervised production before handling live files.
Will I end up managing the vendor?
No — that is the difference between a managed production operation and a staffing arrangement. Delta manages the people, the production, the QA and the performance. You stay connected on priorities, requirements and feedback, and you review the output; the day-to-day production management sits with us rather than coming back to your team.
How quickly can a team be operational?
It depends on the scope and on how much of your standard is already documented. The sequence does not change: we learn the workflow, assemble the team, then train and calibrate against your standards with supervised production before anyone touches live work. We would rather be clear about that step than shorten it to start sooner.
