GIS & Data Science, delivered by a team that works like part of yours.
Delta Precision Group provides managed GIS and geospatial data teams for engineering firms, municipalities, government agencies, and technology companies that need spatial analysis, remote sensing, workflow automation, data visualization, and compliant image annotation, without building and managing an internal GIS team to do it.
01 / Proven In Production
What Delta Precision Group has delivered.
Our GIS and geospatial capability is the most thoroughly demonstrated part of what we offer. The numbers below come from an ongoing production engagement for a U.S.-based urban robotics client whose autonomous sidewalk-assessment robots serve cities and public agencies across the United States:
Files Completed
46,677+
On-Time Delivery
97%
Turnaround
5–7 days to ~48 hrs
ADA/PROWAG Domain Training
400+ hrs
U.S. Municipalities
10
These numbers reflect nine months of live production work, not a one-time project or an unproven claim.
02 / Who We Support
Built for organizations that need real GIS and data science capacity.
AI, robotics, and geospatial technology companies
That need structured spatial datasets, classified imagery, or labeled training data at volume, without building a permanent internal team.
Municipalities and public agencies
That need spatial data production, compliance inventories, asset mapping, or public-facing reporting tools.
Engineering and environmental consultants
With GIS, remote sensing, automation, or visualization work that’s overflowing internal capacity on a client deliverable.
Utilities and mapping/survey organizations
That need point cloud, LiDAR, or aerial imagery processed into structured, usable spatial datasets.

03 / The Capacity Gap
Why organizations bring in an outside GIS team.
GIS and data science work shares a common shape across all of its forms: the volume is real, but it’s rarely steady, and the judgment involved is easy to underestimate until something built on bad data fails.
Hiring for all of that is slow and expensive, and it builds fixed costs around work that’s often temporary or project-based. Handing it to a generic offshore vendor is worse: this is judgment-dependent work, not rules-based data entry, and a vendor with no stake in the outcome has no reason to get the judgment right.
- A new municipal contract means a surge of new files to process.
- A compliance deadline creates a backlog the existing team can’t clear without pulling analysts off higher-value work.
- A repeatable spatial task keeps consuming analyst hours.
- A dataset sits unusable because nobody outside the GIS team can interpret it.
Delta Precision Group exists for the space in between: a team that plugs into your workflow, applies real GIS and engineering judgment to your data, and stays answerable for the outcome.
04 / Our GIS and Data Science Practice
Three areas of GIS and data science work.
Each is its own dedicated service page with more detail on what we deliver, how we work, and what we’ve demonstrated.
GIS & Spatial Analysis, Remote Sensing, and Image Analysis
Spatial data processing, site suitability analysis, geospatial database design, LiDAR and point cloud digitization, and classification or change detection on satellite, aerial, and street-level imagery. This is the analytical core of our GIS practice: turning raw spatial data and imagery into structured datasets and answers your team can actually use.
Explore GIS Spatial Analysis, Remote Sensing & Image AnalysisGIS Workflow Automation and Data Mapping & Visualization
Scripting and automation (Python, ArcPy, ArcGIS ModelBuilder) that removes manual effort from repeatable GIS workflows, plus thematic maps, ArcGIS Online dashboards, StoryMaps, and web GIS applications that make spatial data usable by people outside the GIS team, from internal stakeholders to the general public.
Explore GIS Workflow Automation & Data MappingImage Annotation & Data Labeling, Including ADA/PROWAG Compliance
High-volume annotation of geospatial and street-level imagery for AI training datasets and infrastructure compliance inventories, including ADA and PROWAG compliant annotation of sidewalks, crosswalks, and curb ramps. This is our most thoroughly demonstrated service.

How we work as an extension of your team.
-
We learn your standards first. Before any work begins, we understand your data structure, requirements, platform, and what a correct deliverable actually looks like for your use case.
-
We build a team matched to the work. Spatial analysis, remote sensing, automation, visualization, and annotation each call for different skills; the people on your project reflect the specific work involved.
-
We train against your requirements, not our defaults. Standards, tolerances, schemas, and edge cases get documented and trained against directly.
-
We work alongside your team, not around it. You stay looped in through regular check-ins, not because we need supervision, but because this is your data and your outcome.
-
We QA before you ever see it. Every deliverable is reviewed internally against a documented standard before it reaches you.
-
We build in a feedback loop. Requirement changes and your own review findings feed back into how the team works, continuously, not just at kickoff.
-
We scale with you. As your volume grows, our team grows with it, without you having to recruit, onboard, or manage anyone new.
06 / Experience and Capability
The tools, standards, and technical capabilities behind our work.
Demonstrated, Hands-On Experience
- ADA and PROWAG standards, applied across ten US municipalities
- ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Indoors (ESRI Indoors hierarchy)

Scope and methodology for every engagement are confirmed with you before work begins, not assumed from a template.
07 / What sets us apart
A GIS partner built around quality, accountability, and scale.
We’re a partner in the outcome, not a vendor for the task.
We’re not built for one-off, hand-it-off-and-hope work. We’re a multidisciplinary team of GIS and engineering professionals with real project experience across the United States, because spatial data that feeds a public infrastructure decision or a compliance obligation deserves people who understand what’s riding on it.
Quality is tracked, not assumed.
Documented standards, internal QA, and performance tracked at the individual level mean problems get caught while they’re still small, across every service we offer.
We deliver on time, not just eventually.
Across a live production engagement for a U.S.-based urban robotics client, we’ve maintained a 97% on-time delivery rate, including through new contract additions and surge volume.
We scale without becoming a management burden.
Surge capacity, new contracts, and shifting scope are normal parts of GIS and data science work. We absorb that by adjusting our team, not by asking you to manage a second workforce on top of your own.
08 / Ways to engage
Choose the capacity model that fits your work.
Dedicated Production Capacity
A managed team built and trained around your specific GIS, remote sensing, automation, or annotation workflow. We handle recruiting, training, QA, and scaling; you set the standard and review the output. Best for ongoing or recurring needs.
Project Capacity
A defined scope, deliverable, and timeline. We build the right team for the specific project and deliver to your specification. Best for one-time or infrequent needs with a clear output.
Surge and Overflow Support
Additional capacity layered onto your existing team during high-volume periods, new contract onboarding, or deadline pressure, scaled back once the surge passes.

09 / FAQ
Common questions.
What we are asked most often about scope, quality and scaling. If your question is not here, ask it directly.
What’s the difference between your three GIS services, and how do I know which one I need?
GIS & Spatial Analysis, Remote Sensing & Image Analysis covers the analytical work: turning raw spatial data and imagery into structured datasets and answers. GIS Workflow Automation & Data Mapping covers making repeatable GIS work faster and making spatial data usable by non-GIS audiences. Image Annotation & Data Labeling covers high-volume, judgment-dependent labeling, including ADA/PROWAG compliance work. If you’re not sure which applies, tell us what you’re trying to produce and we’ll point you to the right one, or combine services if your project needs more than one.
Can you handle a project that spans more than one of these services?
Yes. Our ongoing engagement combines annotation, image analysis, and reporting under one team, so you can bring a multi-part need to one partner instead of sourcing each piece separately.
How do you ensure quality across such different types of GIS work?
The same way across all three services: documented standards, dedicated internal QA before anything reaches you, and performance tracked at the individual level. The specific QA process is tailored to the service (asset-type review for annotation, accuracy tolerance checks for remote sensing, testing against real data for automation), but the underlying system is consistent.
How quickly can you scale if our volume increases?
Quickly, with the constraint that new team members go through the same training and supervised ramp-up as the rest of the team. Our largest engagement scaled from 3 to 26 people over nine months without any drop in quality standards.
Do you only work with clients long-term, or can we start with a smaller project first?
Our model is built around long-term, recurring partnerships, as trust is established between our team and yours. That said, we’re glad to start with a defined project or a surge engagement if that’s the right first step for you; our relationship with our current client began that way.
